How do you promote a digital “object eraser” for photos in a fun and smart way? The answer: photobombing. After all, nothing’s more frustrating than having your precious photo ruined by an unwanted intruder. With this in mind, Samsung Galaxy and Leo Burnett Germany masked the most famous German landmarks with billboards reading: "Don't be bored by this ad anymore. Just delete it." Teams present on site also showed “photobombed” tourists how the AI function of the Galaxy S24 could remove unwanted objects (or people) from pictures. In fact, the campaign ultimately became the first to ad promote its own deletion. |
